Virtual comic art show : Fourmies la Rouge. Featuring the original comic art of French artist alex W. Inker.
On the 1st May 1891, in the French city of Fourmies, policemen fired at workers who were protesting for better working conditions. This is their story retold by French comic book artist Alex W Inker, who grew up in Fourmies.
This original comic art is done on thin (70 gr.) ivory Moleskine paper, with blue pencil, ink, and sometimes red watercolor. This original comic art has been published in the graphic novel Fourmies la Rouge in May 2021.
