Once paid in full, the art can be picked up at the gallery by appointment. The art will be packaged with care, just as it would be for shipping.
The art is sealed in a plastic sleeve, then packed between 2 MDF panels. MDF is medium-density fiberboard, a type of engineered wood similar to plywood, but more durable. We always leave a secure distance between the borders of the package and the art itself. We then ship the art via Fed-Ex.
Once your payment is complete, your art will be shipped within 10 business days.
Because we want your purchase to be taken care of. Fed-Ex offers great service with consistent email updates.
The Comic Art Factory was first introduced as a website in 2014, when we began working with a few European artists like Isabelle Dethan, Mazan, and Clarke.
With the success of many virtual art shows over the next four years, and a growing roster of artists both European and American, we went forward with the opening of the brick-and-mortar gallery in 2018.
And we still enjoy reading new comics books every week!
Born and raised in Belgium, and more precisely in Charleroi in 1975, Frédéric Lorge is the founder and manager of both the website and the gallery.
Thanks to his background in journalism, he pays special attention to promotion, in part by creating personalized videos about the gallery’s artists. He’s passionate about discovering new illustrators and comic book artists and sharing their art with a growing audience.
