Original comic art by Alex W Inker. Fourmies la Rouge, page 56. On the 1st May 1891, in the French city of Fourmies, policemen fired at workers who were protesting for better working conditions. This is their story retold by French comic book artist Alex W Inker, who grew up in Fourmies. The art is done on thin (70 gr.) ivory Moleskine paper, with blue pencil, ink, and sometimes red watercolor. This original comic art has been published in the book « Fourmies la Rouge » in May 2021.
